Rainwater collection Barrels
I Bought some used 55 gallon plastic barrels that had previously held lemonade. I then followed instructions from a post on Pinterest on how to add the spicot and went to Home Depot and found the rain water diverters in the gutter section, then cut sections of my old water hose And added plumbing adapters from Home Depot to get them to fit right. I also built the stands out of pallet wood and scrap lumber I had laying around I will get better pictures of them soon
Headboard bench
I had an old headboard and footboard that were given to me and I'd seen some cute benches on Pinterest so I decided to make my own. I cut the footboard and half and screwed to the headboard to create a u shape and then I cut a 2 x 4 for the front support. Then I added pallet boards for the bench part. They are a bit rough so I think I need to sand them next. I will update with new pictures after I'm done, I think I'm going to paint it red.
Potting Workbench
I've always admired the potting benches on Pinterest and finally decided to build one on the side of my existing barn. Below are step-by-step pictures that I took along the way. I hope that they inspire you to make your own.
I even hooked up some plumbing adapters to the waterline so that I can hook my water hose up to the faucet when I want to wash my hands. one bucket underneath will catch the water and the other side will be used for potting soil.
Pallet Shed
I have a 12'x28' storage barn that I want to convert into a tiny house, to live in, but I needed somewhere to store all of my tools and motorcycles. So I decided to make a shed out of pallets. I had seen some cool ones on Pinterest. Below are pictures of my progress...I will come back and add instructions on how I did each step.
